Who we are

Through strong and long term collaboration with grass-root partners and local communities, Terma Belgium aims

to inspire healthy and resilient communities.

Terma Belgium was founded in 2016 with the goal to provide daily lunch to hungry children in a kindergarten in a nomadic area of Tibet, to complement Terma Foundations already active health programs in the area. It has now extended community-based programs to Myanmar and Mexico.

Terma Belgium is run by a team of volunteers in Belgium and Switzerland, with an intimate knowledge and 25 years extended experience with Terma Foundation mission and programs, a commitment to Terma values and an array of expertise to warrant that these programs answer the more pressing medical needs in the served communities with good governance.

The Terma Foundation is an international humanitarian medical organization that develops integrated health programs to educate, research, treat and prevent illness in vulnerable communities. Founded in 1993, Terma Foundation operates in Tibet (Tibet Autonomous Region, China), Mexico, and Myanmar, and has reached over 1.5 million beneficiaries to date.
